Pre-Requisite(s)
Concurrent enrollment in Math Analysis, Algebra II/Trig or higher or teacher recommendation
Course Description
Advanced Placement Computer Science is a college-level course in beginning computer programming. It is taught in the programming language Java. No prior programming experience is expected although it would be an advantage. Students who pass a national exam at the end of the year may earn three units of college credit in computer science. The software used in the course is called JCreator LE v3.50, which is freeware. The current version (4.50) is available here.

Course Requirements
All students will be expected to attend class on time and participate in daily activities. The course grade will be based on the following:
- Class Work (programming assignments)
- Projects
- Tests and Quizzes
- Final Exam
